After Page - the No. 2 seed and all-events silver medalist - took the third game 264-194, Williams closed the match with a 214-203 win.Williams moves on to face to top seed Choi Bok-Eum of Korea, who defeated Team USA's Patrick Allen, 3-1 (179-143, 232-237, 211-170, 216-177). Finland two-hander Osku Palermaa needed five games to edge Team USA's Tommy Jones, 3-2 (255-194, 186-236, 233-202, 188-207, 279-244).Other first-round winners were Norway's Tore Torgersen, Denmark's Jesper Agerbo, Mexico's Alejandro Cruz, England's Dominic Barrett and United Arab Emirates' Hussain Nasir Al Suwaidi.
