I post my sheets on sat. morning and with in 5 minutes there is an e-mail telling me they are ready to view. Example leaguesec.com notified me at 8:53 a.m. on 3/10. Bowl.com notified me at 6:04a.m. 3/12. What is up with that?
What you cite is why I never upload my summer league to bowl.com. Bowlers want to see their e-sheets immediately and with League Secretary, I can get the e-sheets to them within minutes of the completion of bowling.
Well it has been over 6 months and I am still waiting for an answer. Maybe it will come when the big move to texas is done. Come on tell us why it takes so long.
Dear Dennis:
Is there still so much of a time differential?
With regard to my league, it seems as if the league secretary sends the sheet to both bowl.com and leaguesecretary.com, and the standings seem to be posted on BOTH sites shortly afterward.
I posted my sheet at 8:54a.m. sat. 10/11.
I got an email from leaguesec that it was available at 8:59, 5 minutes later.
My notification from bowl.com arrived at 5:10 a.m. sun. 10/12, 17 hours later....
I asked about this on bls message board and was told that bowl.com has inferior software, imagine that.

Dennis,
Do you believe everything you read on a message board.
Dennis, remember that CDE sends the information to bowl.com from thier software. I had asked CDE before about this and was told they foward the infomation. Could it be they wait? I had published my own pdf files on bowl.com in the past and they were up within an hour or two, when you do it direct it is faster.
I did my sheets at 10 and they are up now at 10:58.
My Sunday night league secretary brings her laptop to the center and inputs scores as she gets them. The league is usually all finished by 10:15pm and the scores are usually available to see on bowl.com by later that night.
Chrissy :)
just to check, i signed up for the webmaster to let me know about my sheets. two weeks in a row my notice came around 5:30 am on tuesday, i do the records monday night. last week i was done by 9:30 pm and last night i waited until 11 to do them. so i see the problem is not when they get posted, it is when an automated mail sends the notice.
Dave I believe you are right it is the notification system that need to be updated. I posted them on Friday night before midnight. League sec sent notification before midnight. bowl.com notified Sunday morn at 5:30 a.m. Not very efficient.
I'm in 3 leagues that post on bowl.com and sometimes I don't even get a notification. It's like hit or miss each week and not always the same one.
