    Finger tip ball question?

I started bowling only two years ago and I don't use a finger tip ball. My friends and a few coaches have told me that finger tips are hard to get used to, but after you get used to them, you tend to bowl better and your average goes up. I've been tempted to try a finger tip ball, but I don't want to bring down my average any lower than it already is.

Should I try a finger tip ball with my little bit of experience in bowling or stick to a non-finger tip for awhile yet?

My opinion:  If you're interested in learning to bowl better, then change over to a finger-tip and stick with it.

Also, if possible, find a good coach.

Thanks! I'll have to have a talk with my coaches and see what they say. =)
