Does anyone know of any great USBC golf specials when in Albuquerque. I'll be there March 9th - 13th. We're bowling the 11th and 12th.
The Championship course at the University of New Mexico has a USBC special $79 for 18 holes, cart, club rental, tees, range balls, yardage book, and Logo ball.
This course was the home of the 2007 NCAA womens golf championship.
Evidently this offer is listed in the USBC coupon guide that is given at registration. Does anyone know how to get a hold of a book before registration, because I'd like to book a tee time before I get down there and I'd like to see what the specials are.
Does anyone know of any other golf specials that includes club rental, because I"m not lugging my Taylor Made's and my Bowling Balls all the way from Wisconsin
Desert Greens has Taylor Made Rentals for $25. I think their weekday greens fees are around $35 - $40.

Ok let me ask another question then.
Are there any locals or people who have visited in the past that can make a reccomendation on a decent golf course out there that isn't too pricey.
Maybe a course I could bring my wife out to would be nice also. She never golfs and is terrible, but it would be nice to do that together.
In my research this is what I've found. If people have found stuff on the contrary please site your sources and I'll look into it. If people could comment on the places they know or have heard things about that would help a lot
Desert Greens - no USBC Specials
Arroyo del Oso - USBC special
University of New Mexico Championship Couse - USBC Special
Isleta Eagle - no usbc special
Ladera GC -USBC special
Los Altos
Sandia Casino & Resort GC
Hope this helps. Please post more info if you have it.

There was another post about golf in Albuquerque a few months ago. I am not sure if you saw the post during your research so I have included the link. I am not a golfer so I am not sure if the info is any good.
