Any summer sport leagues in Metro Det.. MI.

Does anybody out there know of any summer sport leagues in the Metro Detroit area. Looking for a true sport compliant condition not the PBA Ex. condition.

    Thanks,

    Matt T

I know of several PBA Experience leagues, but none with other sport conditions:

Monday nights at Fairlanes in Madison Heights (I can't find info on the web), Tuesday nights at 300 Bowl in Waterford (http://www.300bowlproshop.com/pbaexperience.htm), and Wednesday nights at Sunnybrook Lanes in Sterling Heights (http://sunnybrookgolfandbowl.com/flyers/AdultSportLge5-7-08.pdf)

    Websurferdude,

Thanks for the reply, I did the PBA ex. league at Fairlanes last summer and had a couple of good nights.(got a deck of cards and a coaster) Mostly I struggled, all my equipment is geared to the typical house shot. I decided that to really compete on those patterns that I'd have to get some new balls, which I decided against.

I really need practice on the flat tournement/sport patterns. I'll bowl the MDUSBC, State, K of C and the Polish tournements this year and you never know what pattern you'll get. I definitly won't be back to Nationals until I improve on the flat tight stuff.

How about a house that will put out a flat pattern for some extra dough? I'd be willing to pay extra this summer for a shot with oil and even more money for a sport shot to practice on.

    Thanks,

    Matt T

     Matt,

Often, Pampa Lanes will put out the USBC pattern and the next American Masters Bowling Tour pattern for the upcomming weekend.

American Masters is using the new Kegel Navigation Sport Series patterns and are very challenging.

    Bill,

Thanks, I'll give them a call only a mile and a half away.
