I plan on bowling the event also. I am probably going to be by myself. I was wondering nhow many bowlers you need to bowl and how much time you need to make a reservation in advance. Also what do you mean by covering travel expenses for the bottom place. Would it be $200, $400, $1000? Just trying to get an idea what I am getting myself into.
Also anyone going out this weekend looking for someone to bowl with give me a PM. I am looking to bowl Sunday evening or Monday afternoon.
The last time I will look at the forums will be on Friday morning.
Thanks
If you plan on bowling by yourself, just contact me the day before you come out and I will try to make it possible for you to bowl, I am fairly open to other squad times if the ones posted do not work for you. I can be contacted at 505 771-3866. Let me know becouse it could be possible that others have told me they are going to bowl at the time you want and I will add you to bowl with them, however I have had several bowlers bowl by themselfs, no problem. The answer to your question on how much will we be paying out for the other spots cannot be answered until I get all of the entries in, we were looking at paying out the 72nd place with 2000 enrties 1500.00.
Keith
Thanks for putting up with all my questions and getting me that flyer as quick as you did. It looks like I will be bowling this Sunday or Monday June 29/30 in the morning.
Anyone else bowling that weekend.... we can make it a squad..... lemme know.

Keith,
Thanks so much for letting Steve and I bowl yesterday afternoon on such short notice. This is called exceptional customer service. We called at 3:45pm after flying in(delayed due to storms), talked to Keith, he told us how long it would take to get there, and had the staff ready for us when we walked in.
You are stepping into the next bowling age by partaking in this tournament. The center is all new concepts and retro. What a neat place. The shot is fair, but makes you pay if you do not execute. I shot 1328, putting me about 8th place at the moment.
Thanks again!!!

One more thing. Please try to keep the website updated with scores on a daily basis, or every few days. This is the only way we out of towners can keep up with the scores after leaving town.
Please send a flyer to rrbowl@aol.com. Thanks!
Me and my crew were there last night, not to bowl, but to gamble. I did however check out the fun center and it is not to bad. The pictures don't do justice. If the shot is fair and not too dry the dividers between odd and even lanes should not be an issue(except when running out hambones). The only time it seems it would get in the way is if you have to go way left and slide near the left gutter, your balance leg may hit it, but if your slide foot slides 5 boards right of the gutter it should be no problem.
Shuffling back to Buffalo tomorrow @ 2 PM. Might go and bowl the 10:30 am squad. As of Friday 5-2 there were 97 entries not sure how many they are going to take if they dont get too many more entries. I will try to get more info and report back when I get home.
Unfortunately I couldn't find time to fit this into my schedule, it is a bit of the beaten path, but so is everything not at the convention center in Albuquerque. With the limited squad time and not being able to get ahold of anyone who knew anything about the tournament to schedule another time, I was SOL. The Isleta Casino & Resort was very nice my crew went on Saturday night and all came out ahead a bit. I will warn anyone still going out there almost everything outside the convention center closes early 9 or 10 PM unless you want to drive and find somewhere.
The website has numbers as of 4/25....any idea when the latest numbers will be up???? Thanks!!
keith, can you email the flier?
jclpnqa@aol.com
if so, please do so asap so i can get it around to my group coming to bowl.
thanks,

What's going on at this tournament. 24 entries since the last posting and out of those 24 you've got the top 4 and 8 of the top 11. This defies all logic even if the skill level was slightly higher. How would you like to be locked into 4th place, and out of the cut # just like that. I know when I bowled it was pretty easy to get to the pocket but everybody I bowled with or talked to that bowled, including the Mo-rich team, had carry problems. We bowled on a pretty long pattern, so I'm just wondering if they didn't cut it back just a little.
You may have mentioned this earlier, if so I apologize for asking again. You had advertised bringing back 72 bowlers if you had 2000 entries. With the entry total looking like it will be around 200-250 max, how many people are you planning on bringing back in September? What will be the payout for the final cash spots? Actually do you have a projected prize list based on the probable entries you look like you will? Thanks.
I think he said it was a 1 in 10 cash/bring back. So that sounds like 20 - 25 people coming back at this point. Doesn't sound too promising if you ask me. I still plan on giving this a shot when I get there at the end of June.

Gopher,
I think you are correct, just was hoping for a little confirmation from Keith.

Only 127 entries as of yesterday. While I like Masters formats, I hope this one lives up to the hype.
