First off I appoligize for using the forum to post this. The lack of responses to the emails I have sent off the sub board, and the people who have replied have already committed to bowl, but havn't yet removed their name from the sub board. It makes it frustrating. IMHO these forums are read alot more. Again I appoligize but I will try here;

There's a pretty active sub board at the venue. I've had several friends get on teams or pick up a doubles/singles slot already just by being on the board there. I'm almost certain you'll be able to find someone to fill everything or two different people to fill the two different events. The key is to visit the venue before it's time to bowl so you can make the necessary phone calls in order to get someone lined up.

Thanks Deb, it looks like its coming to that. We bowl April 7-8 and I get there on the 5th so hopefully that will be enough time to find someone.

I'm glad that worked out for you, Chas! I may stop by to see how she bowls. She and her husband routinely out-bowl us in league.
