Well, let me say this, was a rousing 99, and the rest of the tournament wasn't much better. But, theres a reason. I suffered a stroke on oct 26th, and when i fell, i tore 3 ligaments in my right knee (OUCH). Now, I did offer to get someone else to take my place, as i did NOT think, even with rehab, that i'd even be able to make the trip, much less throw a ball.  I have to thank my teammates , who would NOT let me give up. (they knew even cashing would be a longshot, but it didn't seem to matter to them. yes, i shot a remarkablr 1140 AE, yes, i said 1140(and my last yr bowling, I averaged 220..talk about  a taste of reality. Now, i will be back, albeit it with a nice new artificial knee, and I WILL bowl better, that I do know.(I just hope i can get my average back up so i don't be accused of the J Kistler Syndrome)

Well due to a stroke and a few torn ligaments, I don't think you'll ever be accused of "Average control"

Congrats on rehabbing enough to make it to Nationals.   Good luck in the upcoming years.   I'm sure with a bit of practice (or a lot) you'll be back in form in no time.
