I occasionally get a thumb knuckle blister and tear it open while bowling. This is not from poor fit but because I'll bowl a couple of dozen games at one time. Different things cause it, too hot in the bowling center, practicing throwing hard and straight at the corner pins, etc., etc. The question is how do I cover the damaged skin if I am bowling league, tournament or something else? I've used Nu-Skin but it always peels off within several frames (hurts like heck to put on too!). I've heard mention that nail polish works better. Any suggestions on what's out there?
Thanks,

One thing to do is to put Nu Skin on before the wound appears. I also mix it with Ez Slide or soapstone. This makes it a little slick as Nu Skin is a bit tacky. Another thing I have also been trying is a thin black tape that ABS and Turbo both put out. The tape stays on better with a bit of super glue in the corners and works really well. I rarely have a blister anymore and normally it's due to humid conditions this time of year. Even with the tape on it still hurts but it's not real bad.

If that doesn"t help, put the new skin liquid on your thumb first then set the patch in the liquid ( before it dries ) then finish applying the liquid to the patch. If all else fails try thumb sluggs, apply nail polish to the front of the hole or look at changing the pitch in your thumb.
