    Albuquerque trip from Ontario, Canada

Our team has bowled in the USBCs for the past 19 years straight. We always enjoy our trip to the Nationals. We all drive are cars from Windsor and enjoy the sights along the way, mind you some of us go in different directions but always meet at the tournament city 2 days before our scheduled bowling time. The wifes shop and we play golf and then have a team meal usually at a Olive Garden.

This year not so good in the team event 2624, My doubles partner and I shot1315 in doubles and he shot 630+ in singles so we had a good time bowling. The team event the lanes were a little tight and you had to throw a accurate ball to score. The doubles the lanes were a little more open, but I had to throw the ball hard around the 11-12 board because of the strong backends. In the singles almost the same shot but I got tired from throwing so hard in doubles. My scores T-543 D-698 S-544 A-1784

We played golf at the Isleta casino course and enjoyed our round. My wife and I drove to the top of Sandia Peak and it was windy and cool, nice drive to the top. We stayed at Quality Inn on San Antonio Blvd. excellent place they cook you breakfast eggs or waffles not bad for 65.00 a night.

After the bowling our team headed in different directions, My wife and I drove to page AZ by way of Rte. 264 through the Indian reservations. This route was recommended by Deb. thanks Deb. Came home By way of Denver and then I-80.

We really enjoyed Albuquerque as we did the last time it was in town, the people friendly and helpful.
