MightyFish: After I issued my previous post, I checked the Find A Member feature, and Chris Bretz was not listed. However, his average from last season is listed in the yearbook; hence, I assume it has become part of the association's official records.

Sounds like the issue is with you or your association. Maybe you should go spend a few months investigating the issue and get back to us.

Dear ThrowaDIGM:
What else is there to investigate?
Digm:
Obviously, that sailed right over his head, no clue.........lol!
Subtle hints are ineffective.
Digm, calling the association executive might be easier for some but not all. When this sort of thing came up some time ago I was told by one executive that WinLabs could ne overrode and bowlers who had not paid could have their averages entered in the yearook records. When I checked that out with national I was told this was not possible. If it indeed is not possible then everyone listed has had their membership fees paid for 2007/08 season. It is possible the executive of the association paid it himself since it was not the fault of the bowler and 'ate it'.

To put an end to your discussion, in WinLABS yearbook section, there is a check-box to exclude unpaid bowlers from the book. I do not have the software on this computer to post the page. If I put an average in for an unpaid bowler, their average will show in my book. I solve the problem by not putting any information in for unpaid bowlers, this is done after attempts to find out why they did not pay.
