Okay, this may be a stupid quesion but gotta ask ---- after filling out the league certification app, having it keyed in by assn. manager --- will anyone (assn. manager, house or league sec/treas) receive anything from USBC stating that league is certifided? I'm a new league sec. and we have a new assn. manager. The last assn. manager was the type to do everthing himself and kept a lot of people in the dark!
Dixie, you can look under your name on the members section on Bowl .com to find out when national received the application and funds from your local, when it was processed at national and your members, who are paying full fees, will receive a card in the mail from national and should receive a local card from your local association, which is necessary since some bowlers compete in more than one association and have to pay local fees in more than one association but only once for national.

Dixie, there is a certification certificate that is printed out from WinLABS to be sent to the league secretay along with the league roster.
After I enter a new league in WinLabs I print out the certification certificate, a league bowler roster (this shows who paid in your league, members that pd local dues only and members that pd in other leagues) and also the league statement account page. This page shows how much money was received and the amount due. I then place these reports in an envelope and return these to teh league secretary so they have a record of all names, ID numbers, and who pd and who didn't. As the Association Manager to please print these out for your records. I hope that this will help some of the new managers as to what to print out after processing the leagues.
All of those items; certification certificate, league bowler roster, league statement, are NOT manditory by the system. I've found the most useful item is the league bowler roster.

JohnW, they maynot be manditory reports but they are very useful and it would be a good habit for the Assn. Managers to get into doing. It helps the league secretary to know that the dues were received and ALL of the members paid have been submitted and will receive their cards shortly. I call it checks and balances.
All of your answers were very helpful. I'll pass the info along to the assn. manager.
I knew someone out there would be able to help!!
