    Youth Programs

I'm a member of the Youth Committee of the local merged Association.

The committee is responsible for creating/continuing programs that promote youth bowling.  I'm seeking suggestions/examples of successful programs that have been implemented by others.

    Thanks.

    Re: Youth Programs

John, to help you out it is helpful to know what you have right now.  Do you have an inschool program at elementary school level, offering free rental of rug bowling kits?  Do you have a high school league for boys and girls?  Do you have a junior traveling league?  Do you have a junior gold program and send reps to the nationals?  Do you have junior match games, junior masters tournaments, scratch and handicap for boys and girls?  Do you have good coaching available?  Do you have bowling at the collegiate level?  Is your association actively supporting the family and pepsi youth tournaments?  Do you have a bowling tabloid, radio or tv bowling shows?
